Our Physician

Dr. Ravi Mootha is a board certified Urologist practicing in North Texas.  He is a Texas native and grew up in the Houston area.  He attended the University of Texas at Austin and obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering.  Dr. Mootha completed his medical school, urology residency, and fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.  He also completed a specialized microsurgery program as part of his residency training.  With this background, he brings the latest technology to all of the treatments he offers.  Dr. Mootha uses this expertise to perform a delicate microsurgical vasectomy using optical magnification.  This results in a virtually painless vasectomy.

Dr. Mootha is also known for his pleasant bedside manner.  He takes time to educate and counsel patients and review their treatment options.  Dr. Mootha is a "perfectionist" and uses meticulous technique in all procedures and surgeries.  His staff share a similar philosophy to provide the best possible care in a pleasant and comfortable environment. 

Dr. Mootha lives in North Dallas with his wife.  In his free time, he enjoys cooking, automobile mechanics, and spending time with his wife.
